        Before me stood the guild’s newest recruit, who was a tall, muscular nord wearing a brand new set of the standard issue Guild armor. The gear looked the same on Delvin as it did on me, but on him made it obvious that he was unusually fit. Black hair fell down around his eyes and was visible even under his hood.  “Nuggghh…” Pain in my entire body woke me, and panic began to race through me as I remembered where I was and why I was here. The night was dark with no stars visible under the cloud cover. A small fire blazed beside me. I sat up as quickly as my muscles would allow and looked around, fighting the agony.  I arrived at Snow Veil Sanctum just as the sun was beginning to cast long shadows on the pure, white snow. Everything was bathed with a dull, orange glow. I could see Mercer from where I was; standing rigid and up to his knees in snow. I came up beside him and looked at the flat, stone hill that was the opening to a set of catacombs. It looked like an igloo made of stone bricks piled three or four rows high that then cut off into a giant hole that made for the top.
